take aways just a sgood
Popped back in here on the weekend for a takeaway and the meal was brilliant!! there's a door round the back where you enter via the car park, so you don't have to walk all the way through the restaurant to pick up your meal. Thanks!

One of the best
I had a hankering for some good Thai food, and Sawadee in Ponsonby Road is a bit of a Thai institution. It's been around for years, and still continues to serve the best thai in Auckland. Although we waited for a while to be served, I knew that this was very unusual for Sawadee who's service is normally spot on, fast and efficient.

Once we ordered the food arrived literally within minutes of saying 'And can we order rice with that too' (which can be a bit of a worry when cooked so fast) but it was delicious and super yummy and I was left with a grin on my face like a Laughing Buddha.

The restaurant is always very popular full of large groups celebrating birthday's or lining their stomachs before a night on the town. I always recommend this place to friends and family, and shall continue this tradition. Good for takeaways too.

Great thai food
Always so quick with takeaways and some old favourites that never change. Also very accomodating for people with food allergies (pad thai with no egg, no peanuts).
