Dida's Wine Lounge is a great local wine and tapas bar located in Herne Bay. It calls itself first and foremost a “European style wine lounge”, and the interior featuring old black and white photos of the owner's Croatian relatives when they first arrived in New Zealand definitely gives the place an “old country” feel.
There are over 500 wines available, including 100 by the glass, and the staff all seem extremely knowledgeable.
Dida's also offer an authentic Spanish tapas menu, which is well priced and one of the best in Auckland.
