Coca Cola Easter Show 
ASB Showgrounds, Thursday 5th April to Monday 9th April, 10:00am to 6:00pm each day

The ever popular  Easter Show returns with a host of new attractions. For the first time in its 161 year history, admission is free for kids under 12. Highlights include the Zikir Circus, acclaimed Kylie Minogue tribute show “100% Kylie” and a 12,000 sq m animal zone showcasing champion farm and domestic animals. There will also be cultural performances and stage shows of popular kids productions. Admission: kids under 12 free, adults $25.


George FM & Remix Magazine Britomart Easter Bash 
The Nathan Club, Auckland CBD, Thursday 5th April, 9:00pm to 4:30am

Start your long Easter weekend with a bang at this party at two of Auckland's most exclusive venues, The Nathan Club and The Australis Room.With 10 of George FM's favourite DJs, Tim Phin, Dick Johnson, Nick D, Maya/Vanya, Thane Kirby, Sweet Mix Kids, Dan Aux, Dean Campbell, Rich Carey and Departure Club DJs, it promises to be a gig to remember. Unlike other events and parties which have to finish at midnight, this one will roll until the small hours of Good Friday morning. Easter Carnival
Shooters Saloon, Kingsland,   Saturday 7th April, 12:00pm to 12:00am

Open House Productions present an afternoon and evening of family friendly and dance friendly fun.  Radio Ponsonby DJ’s Nyntee, Uncle Phil, James Chesterman, Brothers Unrelated and others will spin a range of sounds, from funk and rare groove through to soul, disco and house. Admission is free and there will plenty of activities for the kids throughout the afternoon.

Easter Fiction School 
The Creative Hub Rooms, Maritime Museum, Saturday 7th April to Monday 9th April

At this three-day introduction to fiction writing you will learn important fiction techniques such as choosing the right point of view, writing great dialogue, finding your narrative voice and how to end a story. You will also learn how to transform your own life experiences into fiction. The Creative Hub offers a fun, supportive environment where you can explore your ideas and write new stories. Pine Harbour Fresh Market Easter Harvest
Pine Harbour, Whitford, Saturday 7th April, 8:00am to 12:00pm

The Pine Harbour Fresh Market takes its inspiration from the traditional French village market. You can find the best local and imported fresh produce and ingredients on the stalls, and, at this time of year, a fair bit of chocolate too. Whether you're into Greek olives and oils or Cornish pasties, you'll find something to suit your tastes here. So come, fill your basket and experience a little bit of Europe in this picturesque corner of Auckland.

Easter Sunday High Tea
Stafford Villa, Birkenhead, Sunday 8th April 2:30pm to 4:30pm

Celebrate Easter Sunday in style with High Tea at Stafford Villa. Enjoy their classic selection of delicate sandwiches and cakes and their range of special teas and coffees. Free Jazz Waiheke Easter Monday
Artworks , Oneroa, Waiheke, Monday 9th April, 12:00pm to 4:00pm

Relax on Waiheke Island on Easter Monday to some classic jazz standards, performed by vocalist Briar Ross and kiwi jazz icon Malcolm McNeill. Admission is free although a gold coin donation would be much appreciated.
