*UPDATE* 31 May 2011 - Last night Metro held their 'Restaurant of the year' Awards in Newmarket, with the Supreme winner announced as The Grove, who also won the award in 2010.
Congratulations to The Grove and a full list of all category winners will be announced soon.
In the mean time, here is the list of nominees....
13 May 2011 - Metro Magazine has just released their nominees for the 2011 Top 50 Auckland Restaurants.
Previous Metro award winners restaurants The Grove and The French Cafe are featured in the list once again, but there are some new additions including Sunday Painters and Ima.
This year also features the introduction of a brand new Asian Category, no doubt due to the popularity of such fantastic cuisine, and sees the likes of Satya and MoowChowChow in the running.
Winners will be announced in the June issue of Metro Magazine which goes on sale 31 May 2011.
