Shopping: Kids Clothes
Keep them warm this winter
When it comes to shopping for baby essentials and childrenswear in Auckland, shoppers really are spoiled for choice. The city is home to some great stores selling both local and international brands of note, and when it comes to price, the sky really can be the limit! You can also find pretty much every style under the sun - traditional, funky, fun or classic.
One of the most popular stores for gorgeous imported clothing is Mesamis in Mount Eden - who stock all French brands – which is a great place to start for something really different. International brands like Triples and DKNY can also be found at Great Classics in Parnell Road.
Environmentally conscious parents will find everything they need at Organic Island Baby, Nature Baby and Nurtured By Nature, where eco-friendly and vintage style meets in their very special in-house ranges.
Newmarket's Allium Interiors is a one stop shop, offering an extensive range of linen and furnishings for children's bedrooms as well as the Run Scotty Run Kids range, Pure Baby, Mokopuna and lots more.
For a great selection you also can't go past Smith & Caughey's department store's Central Auckland store, which has a fantastic selection of styles for newborns up until around five years old. At the cheaper end of the spectrum, you can’t go past the various branches of T&T, Cotton On Kids, Pumpkin Patch and J.K for affordable kids’ clothing that is built to last the distance.
Last but not least, the word on the street is that the best selection of children's footwear can be found at Ponsonby's Future Feet.
