Non Solo Pizza
Walk through a secluded archway in Parnell to a beautiful restaurant setting. This place is high class and has great service and food.
Da sette soldi
It feels like you’re entering a living room – in a good way. It’s cosy, warm and inviting. They also have the best pizza bread entrée ever (In Guide to Auckland’s humble opinion).
Prego
It’s very popular at Prego in Ponsonby, and you can't actually book a table. Just turn up on a Saturday night and you’ll either get a table or you can wait at the bar for one. The wait is worth it and service is outstanding.
Al Dente
This is a great lunch spot with affordable Italian meals on High St and in The Viaduct. There’s no need to book and the food is served quickly.
SPQR
Ponsonby's SPQR is both fancy and flash with mood lighting and gourmet meals, so it’s excellent for a special occasion.
