Tasty Thai tantalizes tastebuds!
If you love authentic Thai food, you seriously can't go past Zap. The space is large so perfect for a big group of friends, and the food is pretty quick to be served. Dishes cost around $10 on average and rice is an extra $2 for either plain or glutinous rice. Their tom yum soup is absolutely delicious. Don't expect much of the decor but the atmosphere of the place is still great regardless. They even open during Christmas, now that's commitment to their customers! I've been going since their uni days and even before they relocated to their new address. I just can't get enough of them either (totally agree with the below reviewer!)

Takeaways to the rescue
If you work in town, and have had a hard day at the mine, and can't face cooking just go to Zap. It's Thai food to the rescue to warm the cockles of your heart. There's another in Balmoral too which is aparently just as good. Can't get enough of Zap!
