  A slice of heaven!

  I had always been meaning to drop into Sal's and try out their New York style pizzas but only got around to it the other day. All I can say is that I'm sorry it took me so long to try it out. The pizza's are so good you'd get up in the middle of the night to eat one!

  There were a group of us so we got one pepperoni and one half veggie and half meatball and every slice was even better than the last! The only half bad thing I would have to say is that there's not much choice on the menu - think they only have 4 or 5 set pizzas and then extra toppings are $4 a pop! But that's only a minor issue I had when ordering, once I took my first bite - none of it mattered!! I don't think I'll ever go back to a chain pizza delivery service after trying Sal's and, more likely than not, it's $5 slices are gonna replace my usual 'drunken walk home' food too! Trust me, you have got to try it for yourself!

  Best pepperoni pizza in CBD!

  What else can I say? You have to, have to try it. They sell by the slice.

  I usually get this as a treat for myself after a long run along the bay.

  Oh gawd!

  Seriously. If you've ever been to New York and have enjoyed a yummy, floppy, big ole slice of heaven on the street, Sal's replicates it almost to the T. I say almost simply because being a peperoni lover I have been twice and they've not had any due to NZ Customs "busting their balls" about importing it.

  The first time I had it, was after a night of drinking at Sale St. Sale St is nice and all but not cheap. I knew rocking up to Sal's I was in for a treat. As soon as your get your first bite, it's totally like an orgasm in your mouth.

  Do me a favour and this weekend, go enjoy a couple nice drinks that that coo Fort St bar on the furthest end, whose name eludes me at the moment, and then walk down to Sal's for some food. Your tummy will be doing backflips.
